150 years of Ayurvedic Excellence

Dr E. Shaji Raj hails from a distinguished family of Ayurvedic physicians, with an enduring legacy of 150 years of Ayurvedic excellence. His great grandfather, Sri KodakkattilKuttan Vaidhyar, was a renowned Ayurvedic physician who served the community from 1869 to 1945, a remarkable 75-year service in Trichur, Kerala. Dr Shaji Raj’s grandmother, Smt. Kodakkattil Meenakshi Vaidhyar, followed in her father’s footsteps and served as a Registered Medical Practitioner from Madras University, dedicating 72 years to Ayurvedic healing, from 1936 to 2008.

Dr Sri P. K. Viswambharan, his maternal uncle, also graduated from the prestigious Venkata Ramana Ayurveda College in Chennai. He has an esteemed 47-year career and continuingas an Ayurvedic physician in Thrissur.This rich lineage of Ayurvedic wisdom has been passed down through generations, deeply influencing Dr Shaji Raj’s path in the ancient Ayurvedic healing science.
