Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition. The symptoms are dry, flaky skin on different parts of the body (commonly on the knees, scalp and elbows), redness of the skin, itching or burning skin, skin blisters and bumps. Many people experience a worsening of their symptoms in the colder, winter months.
It is not unusual for psoriasis to spontaneously clear for years and stay in remission.

Psoriasis patients are prone to a variety of other disease conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and liver problems. Therefore, it is very important for all patients with psoriasis to be carefully monitored.
Psoriasis is an auto-immune disease and can be kept well under control with our medicines, proper diet and lifestyle changes. The patients can enjoy long and extended periods of remission, though a complete cure cannot be guaranteed.

Since this is an autoimmune disease, the response will be really fast. The full course of treatment is recommended for best results. Shorter treatment programmes are available which are equally effective.
